This Disclaimer ("Disclaimer") is a part of your agreement with Publeey ("we", "us", "Service") and supplements our Terms of Service. By using the Service, you acknowledge and agree to each statement below.
1. AI-Generated Content Is Not Guaranteed
All content produced by Publeey — including but not limited to ebooks, chapters, outlines, intros and outros, covers, illustrations, coloring pages, puzzle layouts, journal templates, prompts, and titles ("Output") — is generated by automated artificial intelligence systems. Such Output:
- May contain factual errors, hallucinations, contradictions, or outdated information.
- May be similar to content produced for other users or already existing in the public domain.
- May reflect biases present in the training data of the underlying AI models.
- May occasionally produce content you did not intend or did not request.
You are responsible for reviewing, editing, fact-checking, and approving all Output before using or publishing it.
2. No Professional Advice
The Output, including any text in generated books or journal prompts, is for general informational and creative purposes only. It is not medical, legal, financial, tax, investment, psychological, safety, nutritional, or any other form of professional advice. Always consult a qualified professional before making decisions where errors could cause harm — including but not limited to health, finance, legal matters, mental wellness, or relationships.
3. Intellectual Property Responsibility
We apply automated IP guardrails to reduce the likelihood that AI Output infringes well-known trademarks, copyrighted character names, or celebrity likenesses. These guardrails are imperfect and do not guarantee that Output is free of third-party rights.
You alone are responsible for ensuring that:
- Your prompts do not direct the Service to reproduce copyrighted, trademarked, or otherwise protected material.
- The final Output you publish, distribute, or sell does not infringe any third-party intellectual property right.
- Any names, logos, characters, quotes, or images you incorporate are properly licensed.
If you receive a takedown notice, infringement claim, or DMCA notice related to your Output, you must respond directly to the rights holder. Publeey is not your legal representative.
4. Marketplace Policies Are Your Responsibility
Each book or ebook marketplace, retailer, online shop, and self-publishing platform has its own content policies, AI-content disclosure requirements, royalty terms, and prohibitions. Before uploading any Output to a marketplace or shop, you must:
- Read and follow that platform's content guidelines and AI-content disclosure requirements.
- Disclose AI-generated content where required by the platform or by applicable law.
- Comply with the platform's pricing, metadata, and quality standards.
- Honor your own contractual commitments to that platform.
Publeey is not affiliated with any marketplace, retailer, or self-publishing platform. We make no representation that Output will be accepted, will remain listed, or will generate sales on any such platform. Account suspensions, listing removals, royalty clawbacks, or other adverse actions imposed by third-party platforms are not our responsibility.
5. No Earnings Guarantee
References on this site or in marketing materials to potential royalties, sales, or income are illustrative only. Publeey does not guarantee that you will make any sales, royalties, or income from Output. Outcomes depend on factors entirely outside our control — including market demand, your niche selection, your marketing efforts, marketplace algorithms, pricing, and product quality.
6. Content Moderation and Removal
We reserve the right, but not the obligation, to refuse to generate, remove, or refuse to store any content that we believe in our sole discretion violates our Terms of Service, applicable law, or third-party rights. Such removal or refusal does not constitute a refund of credits already consumed.
7. Third-Party AI Providers
The Service relies on third-party AI providers (Anthropic, Pollinations, KIE) to generate Output. We do not control those providers' models, policies, or output characteristics. Changes to upstream providers may affect Output quality, style, or availability without notice.
8. Children's Content
When generating content marketed to or featuring minors (e.g. children's coloring books, kids' story ebooks), you are responsible for ensuring the Output is age-appropriate and complies with applicable laws and marketplace policies regarding content for minors.
9. Translations and Localization
Our multi-language generation feature uses AI translation. Translated Output may contain errors, awkward phrasing, or cultural inaccuracies. Always have a native speaker proofread before publishing in languages you do not understand fluently.
10. Final Word
Publeey is a productivity tool that accelerates your creative process — it does not replace your editorial judgment, your professional advisors, your due diligence as a publisher, or your obligations to the marketplaces and audiences you serve. Use it wisely.
